Figure S1. Spectrin repeat 15 is required for AIS localization of Myc-βIVΣ6 spectrin truncation mutants. (A) CHO cells were transfected with Myc-βIVΣ6 spectrin and the Myc-βIVΣ6 spectrin truncation mutants shown in Fig. 2 A. 1 d after transfection, cells were harvested and cell lysates were immunoblotted with anti-Myc antibody. (B-D) Hippocampal neurons transfected with Myc-qv3J (B), Myc-SR10-13 (C), and Myc-SR10-11 (D). Neurons were double-stained using antibodies against Myc (red) and MAP2 (green) to define the somatodendritic domain. Axons are indicated by arrows.
