About the Cover
Cover picture:The cover illustration is a confocal micrograph of wild-type Dictyostelium cells that were induced to undergo chemotactic migration, and then stained for actin and the CARMIL protein. The striking colocalization of these two components within leading edge pseudopods is shown (yellow). CARMIL, a scaffold protein, links capping protein and the Arp2/3 complex to type I myosins through their SH3 domains. See related article in this issue by Jung et al., (pp. 1479-1497).
